The Regenerative Process

1. Rescue

Remove harmful marine debris with the help of local fishers and volunteers.
2. Process

Local community members clean and categorize materials.
3. Transform

Nylon and polypropylene polymers are compounded and pelletized. We’re developing a special compounding formula that includes antimicrobial properties to reduce fugal growth extend product lifespan. Compounded pellets are heated and molded into final products.
4. Regenerate

Our circular model does not end at sale. Customers will be able to return damaged gear, where it will be reintegrated into our manufacturing loop. By keeping materials in circulation, we reduce waste burdens on resource-limited islands and eliminate the need for virgin materials.

Helen of the Sea X Peace Boat

Helen of the Sea is partnering with Peace Boat for the 2026 Ocean Gala in New York City to raise support for our next ocean plastic recovery expedition in the Galapagos Islands and our first circular snorkeling equipment line. Together, we’re advancing marine conservation through marine ecosystem restoration, circular innovation, and youth education.
